Part arrived in a few days Handle was somewhat difficult to put in but managed The plastic clips were a little flimsy could have been a thicker clip otherwise its still working good

The handle was just as advertised and fit perfectly. The only problem I ran into was that the two plastic clips designed to hold the tailgate opening rods were too weak to hold the rods. I just switched the ones off the original equipment and everything worked fine. 1A Auto actually offered to send me an entire new handle but I declined as I had it working. As usual, super job 1A Auto!

I purchased this handle for my 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche from 1A Auto which by the way arrived on time. It appears to be of the same quality as it's factory OEM counterpart. It is made in Taiwan which is probably why it's discounted greatly but who knows really where the factory one came from anyways. It is an extremely easy install. If yours needs one I'd definitely recommend going with this here although time will tell how good it really is.

Looks good as new. This product was virtually indistinguishable from the original equipment. Overall installation as well as the alignment of the keylock apparatus were both challenging. Once the lock assembly was bent back into alignment, everything was simply marvelous.

Yes, lock stays the same. But, when installing it, you need to cut some of the fiberglass. I learned that on the first one I replaced. This is #3. After removing cover via 3 T screws, you'll see the mechanism. Easy to replace but take off approx 1" of the fiberglass tab that it sits behind.

Does this mean the same lock? My experience just changing the handle did not include the lock, however after changing the handle my lock started working better than it had been. Hope this helps or worse case made it more confusing
