Thanks to utube I found the necessary information so I could install this unit. There was several steps to take the old unit out and install the new unit in reverce. I am happy to say all went well and it's working as it's expected. If your able to do your own work you will save bundle.

Buick Regal headlamp dimmer switch.

This switch arrived on time and packaged well. Installation was easy, as shown on videos watched on how to do the install. The problem with the replacement switch so far is that the criuse control part does not work properly at times. It wilk keep accelerating the car untill you disable it. Other times it works priperly. Must be aware of this issue. Other that that it is working as the original, for now. Have had it in the car for a month now.

Friend of mine installed switch on 1/27/18 in 2 hours.Everything went fine and seems to work fine.Only thing i noticed was the light panel with the letters park,r,d,3,2, and l were not as bright and easy to see as before installation.

I replaced the switch in my daughter's 2005 Century because the headlights would intermittently go out and the car would occasionally accelerate on its own. Both problems were traced to an issue with this switch (the dimmer and cruise acceleration controls). We've had no issues since. Installation took longer than expected (about 2 1/2 hours), but that was because I was being very careful to not damage any of the interior trim pieces and spent quite a bit of time watching online videos for tips. If I was to do it again, I'm sure I could get it done in 30-45 minutes. Hopefully, the following tips will save the next person some time. I also recommend searching for the online videos, because it helps to watch another person do it. 1. Take the time to remove all of the dash trim, including the felt trim below the driver's side dash, the panel covering the heater controls, the side panels by both door posts, the panel below the steering column, the panel to the right of the glove box and t

Price was good. Shipping was fast. But after spending 4 hours to install this multi-function switch, the high beam / low beam switch does not work. Switch to high beam and the lights go out. And that's not even what needed to be fixed. I replaced the switch for the turn signal flasher. At least that now works. Anyway, I'll have to do the work over again. At least now I know how to do it, so it will be faster the 2nd time around. So give me a break 1AAuto, don't sacrifice reliable working parts just to get a lower price.

Lights only worked on highbeam no low

This part fixed my no low beam problem, switch was bad was very simple to install in 1/2 hr or less, im very happy i bought from a1auto they carried my part, was way cheaper than parts geek or auto part stores, i recommend buying from these guys ive never had problems with them or my part!!

2000 Buick Century Custom multi function switch

I've had the switch in for about 10 days. All functions (including cruise control) working just like the old, stock GM switch did. I was able to install by myself without removing the steering wheel. If one doesn't have many tools, I would not recommend doing it yourself. A1 price was very competitive and free shipping sealed the deal! I'm very pleased with my purchase and hope this switch lasts 20 years like the last one!

Better than ac delco

When part arrived opened up and you can tell the quality is better than the ac delco I purchased elsewhere. Lubricated all moving parts and clicking into position is also smoother than ac delco. Really impressed thank you.. hopefully last longer than ac delco also which might have been 2 years...

My 19 year-old grandson, who had never worked on a car before, did the entire removal and reinstallation with some help from YouTube and a little advice from me. The part received was an exact replacement for the original. Installation was easy once we found the hidden screw. Online videos show the star of the show(s) breaking the housing trying to get the old switch off. The hidden screw is there and can easily be removed if you can locate it. Also, the plug is tricky to figure out, but easy, once you learn the secret. There is a screw that has to be undone to get the plug apart.
