Remote start works great, only problem I had was the programmer has a tab on the surface which locked into my programming port. I had to remove the port to get the programmer out.

Worked great however it constantly says the key fob battery is low.. not sure why this is since Ive replaced the battery with new ones.

Instalation was easy after you could get the programmer to go in under dash but now everytime I get in my car it says my keyless fobs battery is low even after putting new sets of batteries in it I just clear it off my dash but it pops back up everytime I start my car thank goodness I can at least clear it off my dash while driving everytime

Hi Bobby once I purchase the programmer remote its easy as 1,2,3 u can program it your self , but I took it to the dealer and they did it for me free. Its work just find, anybody that work on cars can do it.

Basically it puts the module into program mode. You plug it into your OBD2 connector under the drivers side kick panel and follow the directions. It takes less than 5 minutes. It cost me 50 bucks for the dealer to program the last one, this way you can spend about the same amount and save the time and trouble of going and waiting for an hour.

No it will not work. I have a 2011 Malibu with engine start and the remote still didnt work. I recommend getting the key without the engine startup. Its cheaper.

No, this is not for models with remote start and will not add remote start to the vehicle. This is just the standard keyless entry key fob.
