This was so easy to fix and I saved about $1oo dollars by doing it my self.My first purchase from 1A AUTO SAVED ME OVER $600 dollars.It was an inside handle kit for my 2013 Sierra.My local shops and dealerships wanted $650 to fix it..They wanted to replace the entire door panel.I am not a mechanic just an average guy. It took me 45 minutes to fix it. A simple fix for the middle console on my 2011 GMC Sierra. The latch broke that keeps the console closed when lifted to serve as1A Auto for $16.95. Took me less than five minutes to remove the broken latch and replace it with the new part. Not sure I will ever take a vehicle to a dealer again. Great quality just like factory part. I ordered one from Amazon it showed up broken and the plastic looked and obviously was cheap. This part was a bit more expensive then Amazon but better quality and didnt arrive broken so worth the money dont think I will have to worry about it breaking again. A++

This is a high-quality product. It is not that flimsy cheap one. You may need to trim the latch for easier operation. There are good videos on YouTube for step-by-step instructions on how to do it your self.

I have a keyed lower glove compartment on my 2013 Texas Edition Silverado. The key turns on the lower latch but the glove compartment will not open. Anyone had this problem before?
