Good price, perfect fit, feel good a test drive, bad packaging, no nuts in the inner tie rods, plastic tie it's off when arrived.

I got really lucky with this steering rack. Remove the outer tie rods, intermediate steering column knuckle, then two framerail bolts and voila, slips right out. Got some chattering from my old intermediate steering column now but the rack is solid. Will be replacing that next. Wouldn't even know what I was doing if it wasn't for your YouTube videos so much appreciation for that as well.

My Pontiac G6 has over 250,000 miles on it, and the inner tie rods were loose so I decided to just replace the whole rack and pinion. This new one fit perfectly and works great.

Does the rack have to be manually centered before install? I know on a lot of videos they install a ranch and adjust the rack before they install to center it. Wonder if this Hass to be done since it is electronic? The other videos Ive seen involved
