2005 Trailblazer fuel pump assembly

First pump I received was missing the fuel tank pressure sensor but 1A auto sent out another one which had everything. Installation was easy with 1A auto video and part fit perfectly. My gas gauge now works and truck seems more responsive. Glad I chose 1A auto and hope to do business with them in the future.

Looks good so far

I haven't installed this yet so only 4 star until I know it works, but the product looks to be of the quality that I expected and the delivery was timely. I really only needed a sending unit but decided to replace the fuel pump too, since I was in there, if I could find one that didn't kill the budget as per the ones sold direct from GM. this is my first business with A1 Auto but, so far so good.

This installed nicely in my 2006 Trailblazer and worked like a charm. It appeared to be well made. The only problem I had was it was a little big for the hole in the gas tank and I had to file out the hole. Once it slipped in I had no problems. I would definitely recommend it.

Fuel pump or not

Garage told me it was a fuel pump going bad... ordered part over phone, great help, perfect fit. Cant touch the value anywhere. I should have known I've never seen a pump going bad it either works or it doesn't. My problem... its not the pump. 07 envoy still stalling and sputtering, occasionally low pressure.trying to figure it out and will be back to buy my parts here. Thanks 1A auto. Now if you only had a mechanic to send me.

Pump did not work right gusse thats way it was so cheap and now am out 250 for cost of installing cuz item did not work properly and have to have a new put in and pay a nother 250 for the install my suggestion is save you money spend a littel more on one so u get one that works and you dont have this promble

Died within a few weeks

Ive worked on cars for years now and know all the proper procedures when changing a pump and was even sure to run some diagnostics on wires before installing to make sure it wasnt a different problem. However it died only a few weeks after installing it. After talking to many local mechanics they refused to install anything but a AC Delco pump because all other brands seems to fail fairly quickly in GM products. Not sure why but spend the extra money on AC and youll thank me later. All other products from this site I like however. This one is just the odd ball. They sent me a new one but wasnt going to pull the tank down again because thats an awful job to perform... twice.

Pump failed after 3 months

I purchased this pump for my 07 Trailblazer towards the end of December, there were no issues with the fit or installation, unfortunately a few months later the pump quit, stranding my wife on her way home from work. After a tow to the shop I decided to replace with OEM, 1A Auto support could only offer to replace the part as per policy but I opted not to risk another occurrence. So I am out a half days labor and cost or replacing the pump the first time as well as having the shop do it the second time around. FWIW Ive purchased other quality parts from 1A in the past which led me to puurchase the pump in the first place, but I figured it would be irresponsible if I didnt share my feedback.

Not a quality part, stick with OEM

Ordered on Dec 11, 2017, failed on 7/6/2020. Left us broke down on side of the road, less than 26,000 miles on pump. Stick with Delco or Bosch. Never a issue with other 1aauto parts.

Replaced pump due to fuel level sensor failing. Install was straightforward but after 6 weeks. pump doesnt prime quickly. Have to wait 5-10 seconds for fuel to fill otherwise starter engages with no gas. Would get a replacement but dropping the tank is such a time consuming process I deal with this inconvenience. Waiting for it to fail completely to buy a GM pump.
