Product like the OEM part, except without the dimming. It was easy to take off the back plate; you just have to be careful and patient. Follow 1A Auto's video on how to replace and you'll do fine. It took less than twenty minutes to change, which included me taking a couple of breaks. A tip: If you have heated mirrors turn them on so the adhesive will stick really good. Good luck!

The mirror fits fine, the electrical connections hook up right, and it's easy to install. The mirror glass and turn signal LEDs work fine. The heater get's warm, but I noticed that the heater elements don't cover the back of the glass as well as the original. For my older Suburban this mirror made more sense than spending $300 for an OEM part. I'm satisfied with it. Not giving it 5 stars becauseit is not equal to the original, as is the case with most aftermarket products.

I purchased this glass to replace the 1aauto driver side mirror that I purchased from you over a year ago that cracked because of the cold polar snap that we had here in Texas. I guess the mirror is not rated for below 30 LOL. Anyway I watched your YouTube video to replace the mirror itself, but apparently your mirror does not pop up by prying off the actual housing. I guess that only works on factory OEM mirrors. So had to send it back and buy a whole mirror again. I should be getting it tomorrow. I made note that my old driver side 1aauto mirror did not close all the way like the passenger side when I hit the power folding button. I didn't bother to take out the old mirror out last year because it was too much work, but I hope that this new mirror does not do the same thing. It should close and fold flush just like the passenger side and not uneven. I saw that you have other reviews with the same problem from other customers about the folding mechanism not folding evenly flush like t

Yes, but it is simple. Look it up on YouTube and there is an instructional video on how to perform the replacement. Video might be for a Chevrolet Tahoe, but the mirrors and replacement are the same.
