Hello Victor, The Idle Air Control Valve is held in place by one bolt. depending if its a Jeep or Dodge you will need a T20 or a T25 Torx bit. These also have 2 o-rings and can take some force to get the old one out.

If the IAC valve is supposed to sit flush with the throttle body, why does this part have 3 raised points on the seat to prevent a tight seal? This causes a vacuum leak, does it not? The raised points are seen in the picture- if the bolt hole is at 1

I think these are there to ensure an exact orientation. They fit into the casing notches. Replaced it on my Jeep, a couple of years ago and it works well.
