I got an estimate from an auto repair place to fix the wipers on my '97 Ford Ranger. It was really high, it's a 20 year old truck, i mean really, how much money should i spend on it? I found the switch at 1AAuto for cheap. AND there was a video showing how to install it. I am not an auto repair person but it looked pretty strait forward so I ordered the switch. I followed the directions shown on the video, it was easy. I now have functioning wipers and saved a bunch of money! THANK YOU!

Expectations Exceeded

I'm a senior citizen. I quit driving g my 1996 because the turn signals didn't work. I thought the product members was a faulty flasher module. A local Ford dealer told me a replacement would cost me $108. Google search led me to your videos where I learned the problem might be a faulty turn signal switch. 1aauto quoted less than $27 for a replacement. I couldn't believe it. I ordered it anaway. I followed your video installation instructions. It worked and I'm amazed. Thank you 1aauto. You saved me a ton of money and I've got my car back.

Easy installation - just follow the video example. I didn't need to remove the bottom panel where the hood latch is. I have very little mechanical knowledge and I found this very easy to do!

It works

Turned this was not the problem part, It was the signal relay, but the newly installed arm is more solid, and works better than the old.

The service is great, but for some reason although the new and old part looked identical, including the prong plugins, everything worked except the wipers would not turn off once they were turned off. I had to unplug the wiper box for them to stop. The turn signals and dimmer worked great and the switch fit up perfect. Don't know?

I purchased a turn signal switch that came in the expected amount of time. When I got it and installed it, it did not work properly. (the windshield wipers would not turn off) I contacted the website and they gave me the option of shipping another or getting a refund. I did not have time to wait for a second shipping so I asked for a refund. I was told It would be refunded in three days (it was) and not to send the bad part back. That was a surprise. The old switch on my Ranger, the wipers would suddenly stop, in the rain that can be unsettling, or the washer would just randomly start on a hot day. Part was a perfect fit and the instruction video and an incredible help. Now it works like it is supposed to.

Intermittent wipers got a lot too random and then the wiper fluid switch had to be pushed 20 times and maybe it would work once. 30 minutes to swap this in and everything is good as new! Perfect and a good price!
