I ORDERED THE CONTROL VALVE AND RECEIVED IT IN 3 DAYS. INSTALLED THE VALVE IT WORKS AS IT SHOULD MY WIFE WAS IMPRESSED AS WE HAD HEAT IN THE TRUCK..

i want to bypass my heater, is this the part i use? or can i just cut the hoses and put a 'u-fitting' on?

This valve is to control the flow of coolant through the heater core. If you are looking to entirely bypass the system this will not be the appropriate part. We recommend visiting an online automotive forum for your vehicle to find complete bypass instructions.
