Came just as promised... It is a direct replacement for the original ford manifold... Installed myself... Fit perfectly... I've read other people say they lost power with it... I have not noticed any power loss, if anything it seems to have a little more power... Noise wise, it may be just barely louder, but really not noticeable.... Would buy again...

5.4 Triton upper intake manifold

Had to use a drillbit on one holes side that holds the fuel rail. You guys coated thread locker on the entire threads on the screw that is on the crossover to the right of where the alternator, pain in the butt to get off .should have came with instructions especially for the torque pattern (had to find online). But overall part works fine and gives a little more room in the engine bay. Be careful when tightening the self threading screws to the plastic. Make sure they go in straight.

Works but not perfect.

Was missing rear mount holes for rear injector screw mount. I drilled out to correct. But when it was tighten down the injectors leak badly. Had to shim with washers to correct. Otherwise it is a good part.

PCV connection is terrible

The PCV connection nipple is a serious design flaw. It should be molded to the manifold like the stock part. This aftermarket unit has a separate PCV connector that twists in and attaches with an o-ring. Its been a source of a vacuum leak since I installed the manifold. I've had to take the throttle body off several times to get to the area to try to repair it. It may be an issue in the molding of unit that I received. IDK. It just doesn't fit right. I plan on using epoxy to hold the PCV connector nipple into the manifold, in an effort to cure the leak once and for all. With all of the time that I've wasted on this, I should have just bought the OEM Ford Manifold for the extra 100 bucks. Live and learn. I love 1A Auto, but I am really not happy with this manifold.

Fast shipping so far so good It's been couple month since I installed. The self tapping screws for the pack coil need to be more standard size And have more grip for the shocked, overall everything is going well.

It was a perfect fit for my 5.4 triton engine. The videos provided helped immensely. And that is why I purchase from 1A Auto. The reason why it wasn't 5 out of 5 was because the thermostat that came with it wasn't opening. It hit 212 F and it got me really nervous. Unless I was mistaken, I thought it was 185 F to 190 F when it would open. So I just purchased a fail open, and went on my way.

Don't buy this manifold

I found that the manifold fit ok, but I would not recommend this manifold. The main bolt holes have insects for the bolts but the remainder of the hold down locations are plastic only with crapy low tensile strength screws that snap off and cause severe problems trying to get them out, and don't ever use any power tools to install them.

Worked great for For F150 Ford XLT 5.4. Screws were pretty cheap so the heads busted off with only minor torque from handheld screwdriver but I had some replacements

The hardware is poorly made. I broke a screw head before even torquing it to spec. It would have helped if the kit came with extras for those sort of problems. Caused me to have to take the intake completely back off to get the broken screw out.

You will not encounter a decrease in the truck's performance. Our vendors created an upgraded design due to common failure points on the OE design, but made them to exceed the OE style specifications.

It will not change the performance. It looks smaller because the aftermarket one comes as the full unit and deleted casing that the oem one sat in. Just sets right in, and also deleted the need to have to take out the entire middle to get to it.

Yes it does. The gaskets are built into the manifold and crossover. I installed this intake manifold on a 2001 Ford Expedition a couple years ago and have had no issues with it.
