How To Remove a Seized Brake Rotor

    • Apply rust penetrant to the brake rotor
    • Strike the rotor with a hammer, being careful not to hit the studs
    • Pull the rotor off

After you have the caliper off, coat with penetrating oil around the wheel studs and the center. To get this apart, use a nice big hammer. Avoid hitting your lugs. You just want to hit the rotor itself. The rotor comes off.
