The catalytic converter looked the same as seen online and it was plug and play. The only issue was one of the threads on the stud for the cat was off but, I chased the threads and I can say so far its performing as it should and even the gasket kit was close to OEM. Very impressed.

First time changing a cat on a 2015 Kia Soul. Of course, it would have gone better if I weren't racing a snow storm and didn't have a car lift. One of the threaded nuts on the heat shield attachment point had a bad thread and detached when I tried to bolt on the heat shield, so I wound up leaving it off rather than risk a rattle. The exhaust flange was tapped at a diverging angle, so the exhaust would not slide on with both studs screwed-in. I solved that problem by screwing in one stud, sliding the gasket over that and the flex pipe flange over that and THEN stabbing the stud through the opposite flange hole. Luckily it worked. Carefully check the threads of every hole before mounting it and be ready to chance them with a tap before attempting an installation. Oh, and don't do it racing a snow storm without a car lift. There was a LOT of smoke on startup and burn off, so be ready. I replaced both oxygen sensors at the same time and it took about 3 days for the check engine li

Used to replace 2015 Kia Soul 1.6 stock cat converter. Stock cat was bad, threw code P0420. This part is one for one swap , no fitment issues. Passed emissions no problem. But with confidence.

Everything went in good. The only problem I had was getting the heat shield holes to line up. I had to use a round carbide tip on a air grinder to oval two of the holes. Other than that everything went in great. Hopefully it lasts as long as the original. I also watched the 1aauto video for the install. It was spot on with the install process. It went in pretty smoothly.

Good quality part. A local mechanic installed this new catalytic converter in about 2 hours. After driving the car for about 80 miles with the new catalytic converter (as per the instructions of the mechanic), I took my car to retake Good quality the emissions test and it passed the emissions inspection right away!

Part fits great. The item was as described. The item was shipped with no packing material. I notified customer service about the issue. Inside and outside of box was damaged. Thankfully the catalytic converter was not harmed nor was the gasket.
