No. You have to get the "silver button" to glue on the windshield first. I was able to get one at Advance Auto Parts. The gluing is a bit dicey, so I am having our local auto repair place do it.

You will need to use adhesive to allow for proper installation on your windshield.

Yes. As long as the mount is still on the windshield. Slide it on and tighten the set screw.

Pop on? No. If your silver button mount on the windshield is still attached this one will simply slide on and you tighten the small screw to hold the mirror to the button (if it's the same size). If your button is missing, a different size or fell off, you will have to do the whole scrape clean and glue a new button on to your windshield then mount.

Yes! It slides right on. I believe there is a set screw to help it stay in place. Took about a minute to install. I have had mine for several years now. I love it!
