Fit and function of the cover was excellent. The consul was disassembled with little problem. Only 2-screws to remove after side trim was removed by pulling inserted location tab assemblies. Shift knob also simple unscrew removal. Inserting cover into track and aligning shift lever, then reassemble. DIY no problem. 2-electric connectors may not need to be disconnected. Dealer wanted $300, I saved $250.

Lexus dealer said $1,000 to fix broken plastic piece because entire console had to be replaced. I Fixed the problem with $38 plastic piece. Mechanic said so easy to install that he did not charge labor. I highly recommended this item.
