Purchased from 1AAuto due to the fact that when I searched YouTube on how to do the work their video was the first one that came up. Did the swap in less than an hour and all went smoothly. Watch video, pause, do the work, continue watching. The 1AAuto valve cover was identical to the OE part but a heck of a lot cheaper. Thanks to 1AAuto I save around 600 dollars doing the work myself. Would definitely recommend this product and 1AAuto. Thanks.

I replaced the valve cover on my wifes 2010 Mini Cooper S in less than 30 minutes. This part from 1A Auto was a perfect replacement part with absolutely no issues in installing the part. No leaks either as the gasket was a little cumbersome but it works nonetheless with no leaks. Highly recommend 1A Auto and their parts. Top quality for sure.

On a 2007 Mini Cooper S, you know the 6 six turbo one. Well on shutdown it would make a weird winding down sucking vacuum leak like sound. Narrowed down where the sound was coming from the back left side of the valve cover. Turns out there's some parts in there that you just can't replace and instead get to replace the entire cover. After watching the video, (I spent more time watching the video than replacing the part) my problem was fixed. It also helped clear the check engine light I had that read something about an intake manifold leak air and downstream throttle leak air. This kit made it simple to have everything to get the job done fast and easy. It has been around two months now and everything is still going great.

Quality valve cover, and quick shipping. Fits perfectly onto my 2007 Mini Cooper S (R56) using A1 Auto video tutorial. Only one minor issue: the valve cover comes with a venting valve with a red pull out seal, that replace with a included screw on cap. But my R56 does not need this and it is the valve is on the way of my AEM after market Cold Air Intake. Thus preventing me to fit the valve cover. I had to cut off this valve and sealed it with an E6000 silicone sealant. Was not difficult for me to do but then again I had thr tools and silicone for it. If you have a stock air intake, or other non AEM after market air intake then this is not an issue. I highly recommend A1 Auto. Good customer service. Good price. Unlike other cheap imitations sold elsewhere. Good products and they warranty it.

The service from 1A Auto has been excellent. However, the part failed within 3 weeks of being correctly installed. The front edge of the valve cover closest to the turbo charger warped upward and was leaking oil onto the turbo charger shield. One phone call to customer service had a replacement part on its way. I will let you know how this one works. If it fails, then I may actually have to bite the bullet and buy one from the MiniCooper Dealer.

Great service , somehow the gasket was not a perfect fit - on one end of the cover it has 2 curves which the gasket didnt sink and after install Ive got leak from the same area but honestly I cant blame anyone just dont know what to say???????

Did not hold up great I had to replace with OEM eventually. The cap doesnt fit properly and I installed it to the exact specifications of the 1A Auto video. Leaks happen in other places as well. Dont recommend

So far it's been two years. Just make sure you follow the bolt install pattern and torque specs. I didn't follow the bolt install pattern so mine set off the CEL. It's good now, after the fact.

Mine has had a oil leak since I got it. Ive tried RTV 3 times now on the drivers side and so far no luck. All it all it works fine and its a very slow leak that goes down the back and comes out in the transmission bell housing.

The valve covers carry a lifetime warranty on them so if there is a manufacturing defect, we would be happy to have a replacement sent.
