Bought this set for my 2009 Outback after clunking noise occurred from a bad ball joint. Noticed other bushings were bad on the control arm so I decided to swap both of them and besides some rusted bolts, installation was easy and fitment was perfect. Clunking noise instantly went away and my car rides like new!

These lower control arms were a life saver! It made the job so easy not having to press new bushings in and worry about buying more parts during replacement. Well worth the money. Trust me save yourself the aggravation and buy these!

I ordered these to replace the control arms in my daughter's 2006 Legacy Outback. The video gave us the confidence to do the job and we were pleased that the order arrived so quickly. These fit perfectly to replace the originals and the car is back to driving like new. Thanks 1A Auto...another great project done!

The part works and lines up. There are no torque specs in the box, had to look those up. The pinch bolt, which is know to be a problem does not come with it, you would have to order that seperate if you break the old one. The ball joint crown nut was not torqued in. It was only finger tight. That could have been a problem had I not caught it. I doubt I will buy anything further from 1A Auto, Not the first issue with quality control I've had. No one at 1 A Auto seemed overly concerned about it.

Perfect fit! Had a issue with one ball joint crown nut being stripped on the stud. They sent a replacement "right away" at no cost to me.

Product itself seems fine. Castle nut and cotter pin were not preset. I missed it, and after 1 week of driving it unfortunately stripped out the post, requiring a new ball joint assembly. Otherwise, I'd buy it again. Just know it isn't quite "plug and play" as in the video.

Use the OEM ball joints, threads on supplied ball joints are smaller than OEM, may leave you stranded 20 miles in a mountain range.

A perfect fit for 2008 outback and way less expensive and less work than dealing w/ the individual bushings. I put these on about two years / 30K miles ago. The rubber is showing signs of cracking altho' the car drives fine, no vibration. I did detect some uneven tire wear, which may be alignment or very possibly slackness in these cracking bushings as previously mentioned.

Everything was as advertised. The quality of the control arms are obviously OEM quality or better. Installation video is fantastic. I installed these about three years ago so this review is time tested.

I believe that they were steel, they were heavy enough!. Just remember that you have to get an alignment afterwards. Good luck.
