Ordered this when amazon sent the wrong one. This was an exact replacement and was installed easily once the original was removed. Steering was so much better once the replacement was made. Just remember to open the ends a little for ease of assembly.

It's a great replacement for the stock steering shaft, very strong.

My u-joint was seizing so I needed a new shaft. I ordered one and took mine apart the night before it was due to arrive. I had to use an air hammer to drive my original shaft up and off the steering box input shaft. The new one came in the next morning and I thought it would be quick; 4 hours later I still didnt have the part in. I couldnt get the pinch bolt in the lower coupling. I repeatedly cleaned the input shaft and groove, thinking rust was holding it up. I even set up a dremal with brushes to clean it like new. I still couldnt get it in. Then the light bulb went off; I got my old shaft out of the trash and carefully compared it to the new one. The hole for the pinch bolt was 1/8 closer to center than my original! There was no way it was going to fit as it was hitting the shaft. I thought about drilling the hole bigger and using a through bolt, but decided to go the right way and get another one sent.
