Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the side mirrors on this 2003 Nissan Altima. It's the same process on these vehicles from 2002 to 2006. The items you'll need for this are new side mirrors from 1AAuto.com, a flat-blade screwdriver and a 10mm socket and ratchet.
Start off by prying off this triangular panel at the top of your door panel. You can see the mirror's held in with three 10mm nuts. With the harness, right here, you just want to push down that tab and pull out on the harness. We'll just fast-forward as Don removes those three nuts. Once those are removed, the mirror pulls right off.
On the left, is the new one from 1AAuto, on the right is the old one. You can see they're identical and will mount exactly the same. You can see, here, that the back of the side mirror actually comes off. You can spray paint this to match or go to a parts store with a paint department and have them match the paint for your vehicle and spray-paint it with the exact paint, or you can just remove the back of your old side mirror if it's still intact. You just stick a screwdriver in that slot, pry out, and then pry it around the edge here. It comes off and you can actually just snap that onto your new mirror from 1A Auto. Now it matches. You line it up on your car, push it into place and start off by replacing the nuts, carefully by hand. Once you have them on there hand-tight, then just tighten them up with your socket and ratchet or your wrench. Reconnect your harness, put that triangular panel back on and you're all set.
We hope this video helps you out. Brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the Internet. Please feel free to call us toll-free, 888-844-3393. We're the company that's here for you on the Internet and in person.

Nissan Altima Passenger Mirror
Sherri
January 30, 2017
I was pleasantly surprised when receiving my purchase. It was packaged very securely and arrived in excellent condition. The online video made installation a breeze. The option of using the old cover was a nice touch; saved time and money. I would recommend this over buying and installing the glass. Tried that route first and wasted time because it wouldn't fit. Buying the entire component was both time and cost effective.
