Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
We have to remove the tail light from the body. There's a 10mm bolt up here and a 10mm bolt down here. It does have the Phillips head in it, but I'm going to use a 10mm socket and a ratchet to remove it.
These shouldn't be in there very tight, it should come right out. Get rid of that. Put that aside. Put that aside. Once these are removed, use our plastic trim tool. You can get these from 1AAuto.com.
There's a clip in here. It basically has to be un-clipped and slid rearward. I'll do my best to get this in here to help me pull this off. They're on there with pretty good force. You can see there's a clip here in the body, and then these two pins here that you have to pop it off of. I'm just going to unlock it from the connector. Push this down, and pull it out.
Now, to reinstall this tail light, you've got a pin down here that lines up here. You’ve got these two pins that are going to line up here, and you have to clip this clip over here on the side of the body. Of course, don't forget to plug it in.
We're going to plug it in, it'll click when it's locked into place, going to line this up. I'm going to watch this outside clip, going to get that caught there, and then I can see these ones in here so I'm going to push it over just like that, and I'll just snap it into place.
Reinstall the two 10mm bolts. This will be the identical procedure for the opposite side. You don't have to make these super tight, just snug them up, and our tail light's reinstalled.
Thanks for watching. Visit us at 1AAuto.com for quality auto parts, fast and free shipping, and the best customer service in the industry.

My tail light arrived promptly and it was well packed. It was cheaper than the one I would get from the body shop that will make repairs on my car this coming week. Thank you!!!
Everything was excellent

After breaking the outside of my 2016 Subaru Forester tail light, I checked with the dealer an independent body shop and a few online aftermarket stores. The 1A part was about half the cost of buying one from the Subaru dealer. I liked the instructional video on the 1A site and didn't see any red flags, so ordered the part and managed to install it in about 15 minutes. Fortunately all the bulbs in my broken tail light were ok so I could re-use them.
Highly recommend

Watched their 'how to' video, removed the broken tail light assembly, and replaced with the new part. The entire process took 15 minutes. Would recommend the removal kit, while a bit pricey for basic molded plastic, it made the removal part quick and easy.
No more broken tail light filled with water.
