The switch was a perfect match and functioned perfectly. The installation only took about 15 minutes and only required a 10 mm socket and a flat screw driver. I saved about 90 dollars on the part alone and at least 75 on labor.

I had mixed feelings about changing my window switches for my Chevy pickup but after getting the switch assembly and watching the video from 1A it only took me about 20 min. to complete the job and is nice to have all my windows working again from the drivers control box.

I was initially pleased, being able to again control all of my windows, but I am now bemoaning the on-line purchase. of all the windows to be having problems with, my driver's side control is intermittent. I need to return, but how do I control the windows while I await the replacement. I also have to pay the mechanic again. Not as good a move as I anticipated.

I got this switch for $33 and free shipping just took a couple of days. Gmc wante $233. Just took off door handle and popped out old switch with a small trial at each end of trim panel.

I removed the original with assembly and cleaned the contacts. It is still working, so I have not yet installed the new switch. The price is a fraction of dealer cost, so I will keep it to eventually replace the original switch.

After close to a year of trying to repair my bad window switch I decided to order a new one. I called 1A and spoke with a very knowledgable young lady and she hooked me up with the correct one (. There are so many to choose from I figured I would call and get the correct one the first time ) It was here in a couple of days and was installed in ten minutes or less. It is like having a new truck. Works great and I was also looking for a second part which they were not able to provide although she told me where to search and now I have a heater motor also. I have used 1A in the past and will use them in the future.

I received the package containg mu mirror and switch. They were well packaged. Before replaceing the drivers mirror I replaced the drivers door master switch. It doesn't get any easier. The mirror was as easy to replace. Conducted a function check before putting the door back together. Once done, reassembled door with no problems. Whole project took about 45 minutes at night with a flashlight and a flood light. The video was not exactly the same but it was no problem to figure it out.

Switches work great and dont feel cheap. I have a late model 2013 Traverse and my door panel is different than the one in A-1s instructional video. No clips on the molding piece that holds the power window switchs. If you simply pull up on the molding you will break the tabs that hold it in the door panel. I had to remove the whole door panel on my Traverse.

Worked like a champ. Please note that with the 2014 traverse you will need to remove the door panel to get to the switch. The videos show you can lift the trim piece and get to it, that is incorrect on the 2014 model.

The handle fit & worked! The master window switch 1AAuto video took the intimidation out of the replacement. My backseat driver side window still does not work (but the rear seat switch does not work either) so there is a separate issue there. All others work and that has relieved a major hassle. 2012 Silverado window switch replacement. Part came fast and fit well. These switches have a tendency of getting dirty and quit working. The replacement quality is great and installed easily. Dont bother cleaning your old one. Just order this switch. For the fair price its not worth messing with. Was plug and play. No programming necessary

Exact fit for my '08 Sierra. I hope this one lasts. I've changed these window switches at least 3 times before with OEM replacements(not from 1A) and for some reason they always fail. My truck doesn't sit out in the rain and if it is raining, the windows are up. Maybe I'll tear my old one apart and see whats happening inside it. These switches work great tho when they're new. I just got the time to install the door handle and electric window switch in my 2011 Chevrolet Silverado. All went well and they both work great. One thing though. I couldn't see what the service guy in the video was trying to show us when it came to removing the cable that runs from the handle to the latch, so instead of taking the cable off first, then removing the door panel, and then removing the handle casing with the special tool you guys include in the kit; I remove the door handle casing before removing the door panel. How I did that was very simple. I used a slender razor blade and applied a little pressure along the back side of the plastic rivets as I cut the rivet's off. Once that was accomplished the door panel came right off. Then I removed the cable from the door handle casing. From there everything else continued on just as the video progresses. The razor blade I used is one of those razor blades you buy at the checkout counter at Harbor Freight. I went without a do

Part was correct and works for a 2015 Traverse. Unfortunately, there was a change in the construction of the door card. The trim piece needed to be removed as in the install video is now plastic welded into place. Adhesive was required for reinstall.

It works perfectly, and it looks just like the original. I had to add a little duct tape filler on each end to keep it from jiggling a little when I snapped it in place into the arm rest. It just a fraction shorter than the original. Works great now

The part itself was a perfect replacement and works great, no complaints there. The installment of said part on the other hand was not straight forward like the video. If you don't see a metal clip on the end like the video shows you have to take off the whole panel, so be careful because you will break the housing if you continue prying it. I replaced the switch in our 2013 Traverse LT and the plastic housing that the video says you just pry up was not true. Not sure when Chevy changed the manufacturing but in our 2013 the plastic housing is plastic-welded to the whole door panel. I broke a few of the plastic welds trying to pop it up before I realized how it was held together. I ended up having to take the whole door panel off to replace the switch. Not bashing 1A at all, I know they can't make a video for every vehicle year.
