I was experiencing hesitation / engine knock / misfire. While cruising at 40 to 65 mph in 4th gear/overdrive and I needed to accelerate without downshifting, I would experience an audible "knock" that felt like it was transmission related. I wasn't getting any check engine lights, but was receiving intermittent misfire codes when hooked up to a diagnostic tool. These coil packs fixed the issue!
Had a slight misfire on cyl 8 due to a bad coil.

2007 Ford F150 279000 miles 3rd new set of plugs this time with the performance coils. Motor runs smooth again idle rough noises gone so far very happy with plugs and coils. Changed these plugs at 85000 mi very warn i will change at 60000 next time.

2007 Ford Expedition- Installed all eight in a couple of hours (at my own pace) and what a noticeable difference in response. As always, the two closest to the firewall (rear) were a little tough, but just took a little more time. I was getting cylinder misfire codes and these cleared them all up. Time will tell on longevity. So far so good!
