So, ... the part fit perfectly and was a great price. It arrived in a timely manner and the shipping was reasonable too! I opened the package and was looking through it and told my wife "They thought of everything!" My wife's Honda Civic had the camera and the kit came with it, BUT THEY ALSO INCLUDED THE AIMING POSTER and INSTRUCTIONS to set up the camera! I thought I would need to go to the Internet, but they included it. Made the install go super easy and the thing is awesome and was 1/4 what it would have cost to get it done locally (local body shop quoted $778) and my wife is super happy with me for fixing her car.

Perfect fit, as good as the original part. Came with the instructions and calibration chart to calibrate the camera. Saw a review that the camera was poor, but it is good enough. Service from 1A was brilliant. Will definitely purchase from them again! Michael

Good mirror for the price. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars, one, the camera is not the same quality as the original, and two, the top cover didn't fit snuggly as it should have and I couldn't get instructions from the seller as to how to remove it and retry. I didn't want to take a chance of breaking the tabs, so instead I used some flexible outdoor caulking and filled in the little crack, painted it and now you can't tell the difference. Would still buy it again if necessary but I'd be more careful putting on the cover.

Youre gonna have to remove the whole door panel to access where the mirror is hooked up. Once the old one is removed you will replace it with the new one. From there you will need to calibrate the camera which is relatively easy to do, YouTube has instructional videos on how to do everything.

How can I take off the top cover? It didn't fit correctly the first time I put it on but the tabs did snap on. Is there way of taking off the glass mirror and snapping the tabs off from inside?

When it says fits US built models is that for models built in the US or for the US? Mine was built for the US but built in Japan.

I think for cars built for the US. I installed it on a Canadian built civic that was purchased new in the US. Everything fit correct and worked right, and I installed it myself with the help of a couple of youtube videos. Calibrating the camera can be a bit of a challenge to get perfect though.

"US Built" means the vehicle was built in the US. If the vehicle was built in Japan, the mirror will not be correct.
