step 1 :Check the Struts
- Look at the strut with a flash light.
- Make sure it is dry. If oil can be seen on the strut or strut boot it means that it is leaking and needs to be replaced.

The easiest way to see that your struts are going bad is you can see this oil here, okay, it's coming down from the top. The struts are loaded with fluid or oil and that's basically what you're looking for. You want to see it nice and dry in here. You can see on the boot, you can see the boot's dry here but it's got oil on it here, and then again like I said, oil is kind of dripping down from the top that means the struts are leaking and in need to be replaced.
