Turtle Wax Paint Scratch Repair

Hey friends, it's Len here at 1A Auto. Today I want to show you something super cool. We have ourselves some turtle wax scratch removal. This is great for if you've got a paint job and somebody somehow gave you a little scratch along the side. It's a total bummer and maybe you don't want to go to the automotive shop and have it buffed out. You can use something like this and get it down yourself.

Let's do a little bit of scratch repair. First what we need to do is prep the area we're going to be working with.

Here's the area of the scratch that we're going to do. Of course we can continue and do the rest of the door. But for now, we're just going to tape off the area that we do want to work on. So I'll set this aside. I'm going to clean up the area, tape it off, and then we'll get to work. Try to get a nice and clean. There we are. Let this dry.

So now that we just cleaned off that scratch, we're just going to use a little bit of basic cleaner. Just try to wipe away any residue that's left. That looks pretty great right there. I would say let's continue and do the same down there.
