Part Details

  • Set Quantity:   4 Piece

In the past, replacing struts required specialized tools to compress, remove and transfer the old spring and mount.  Pre-assembled with all new parts, our complete strut and spring assemblies make this job much quicker and easier for the do-it-yourself mechanic.

Each complete strut & spring assembly contains:

  • Upper Strut Mount
  • Strut Bearing
  • Coil Spring
  • Boot & Bumper Kit
  • Gas-charged Strut

Loaded strut & spring assemblies allow for a quicker, safer install than bare struts.  No spring compressor required!

Trouble-Free Install

Includes the matched parts needed. New components over reused parts provide a better ride and save you from having to repair again.

Matched Parts

Not all shocks and struts are manufactured the same.  Mixing and matching can result in ride quality issues and decrease the life of the parts.

Saves Time & Money

Over buying the parts individually, or having to search different parts that are correct for your vehicle (because we did it for you!)

Customer Q&A
Ask a question to 1A Auto customers who purchased the product
Who is the manufacturer of these?
July 13, 2016
We have a few different aftermarket companies build these parts specifically for us, as our 1A Auto house brand. They are manufactured to the same OEM specifications as the original part that came with your vehicle. If you have any further questions, please dont hesitate to ask.
July 18, 2016
These fit 4x4 models as well as 4x2 models?
April 2, 2017
Yes, these will fit the 4x4 models, as well as 4x2.
April 5, 2017
Is there an alignment required at installation?
September 10, 2019
I did and would suggest you do the same.
September 10, 2019
As long as you don’t need an alignment to begin with. Replacing the struts doesn’t affect tow, camber or caster adjustments. Be sure not to remove upper control arms or tie rod jam nuts. Removing those may cause the alignment to be out when you’re back together.
September 10, 2019
I would get a alignment done after you change the strut assembly. On my explorer after the shocks were replaced it rode alot better but it also can offset the toe and camber from changing ride stiffness which will cause tire wear on the outside of the tires
September 10, 2019
September 11, 2019
Thanks for your inquiry! It is highly recommended to get an alignment after replacing the strut and spring assemblies on a vehicle.
September 11, 2019
Highly recommended
September 12, 2019

March 18, 2020
No theses products bring the vehicle to original specifications.
March 18, 2020
Thank you for your inquiry. These are manufactured by TRQ. TRQ is a high quality, high-end name brand that we offer and back with our 1A Auto Limited Lifetime Warranty. These will be the original ride height as they are made to the exact OE specs that came on the vehicle. They are not to be used with either lifted or lowered vehicles.
March 18, 2020
This is a direct replacement, it will not lower it at all.
