Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the side mirror on this 2008 Dodge Caliper. We show you on the driver's side, but it's the same procedure on the passanger's side. The items you'll need are new side mirrors from 1AAuto.com, an 8mm socket, a ratchet with an extension, and a flat blade screw driver.
First, pry off this triangular panel on top of your door panel. Then this small panel right here. Holding in your mirror there's three 8mm nuts. There's one there, one right here, and one right up in there. To make it easier to get to, just disconnect this harness. Just push on the tab at the top and pull it free. We'll fast-forward as Don removes those three 8mm nuts. Once those nuts are removed, you can just pull the mirror straight out. Just pull your harness through the door.
The one the right is the original mirror; the one on the left is the new mirror from 1A Auto. You can see they will mount, connect, and work exactly the same. Take your new mirror and feed the harness through the door. Then line up the studs on the mirror and push them into place. Then replace those three 8mm nuts. We'll just fast-forward as Don does this and tightens each of those up. Reconnect your harness, and make sure you tuck those wires down inside the door panel. Then line up your triangular panel and push it into place. Then replace that smaller panel below that.
We hope this video helps you out. Brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the Internet. Please feel free to call us toll-free, 888-844-3393. We're the company that's here for you on the Internet and in person.
