Hi, I'm Mike Green, I'm one of the owners at 1A Auto. I want to help you save time and money, repairing and maintaining your vehicle. I'm going to use my 20 plus years' experience restoring and repairing cars and trucks like this to show you the correct way to install parts from 1aauto.com. The right parts installed correctly. That's going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.
In this video we are going to show you how to replace the air flow sensor on this 2002 Sierra with a 6.0 liter. This particular is basically the same for any 99 to 06, or 2000 and 2006 GMC or Chevy truck and SUV. The only tool you'll need is a flat way screwdriver.
First you want to remove your intake hose by removing or losing two clamps one there and one there. We're going to kind of speed through this part here. Use your screwdriver to pry in break the rubber loose from the plastic, maybe twist is a little bit as well, and then pull it from the throttle body. Also, pry the little clip that holds the radiator hose in; pry that out with your screwdriver as well. With the intake out of your way, you're going to want to use a screwdriver, and there's a gray locking clip here that you want to pry up from each side. There is comes out, and the little tab right here, you push that tab, pull up and off, and then you have a hose clamp, and use your flat way screwdriver.
You want to probably twist, use your screwdriver to kind of break the seal of the plastic and the rubber, and the air flow sensor comes right off. You can see the new part from 1A Auto, is just like the old part. You would transfer this ring, this air flow sensor on this vehicle is working fine. I'm not going to put a new one on. Obviously you would just remove this rubber ring with some force. It basically sticks to the plastic. There the ring it off, and you would clip the ring right back on. Have a couple of tabs that locate it right down here, that tab. Push it right back on. There is a cutout right here and a locater on the air box to line up. Push it on. Tighten up your clamp. Plug that in. Make sure you put your locking tab back down in.
We're going to fast-forward through this section which is just putting that tube back in basically, and pushing the rubber onto the plastic, tightening up the clamps, and reinstalling that little clamp that held that radiator hose to it. After that you should be pretty much all set.

Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we are going to show you how to replace the mass airflow sensor on this 1996 Chevy Tahoe. The only items you are going to need for this is a mass airflow sensor from 1AAuto.com and a flat blade screwdriver.
Start off by prying off this tab and pulling back the harness. Now, using a flat blade screwdriver, loosen up this hose clamp and this hose clamp right here. We'll just fast-forward as Don does that. Now, pull the hose back and pull it up and off. Just loosen up this hose clamp and pull your mass airflow sensor free from the hose.
Pull the other end off and push that onto your new mass airflow sensor. Push the other end of the hose onto your mass airflow sensor. Just tighten up that clamp. Push the longer end of the hose in first and then push it back. Push the other end in. Make sure it is in place. Then tighten up those two hose clamps. Reconnect your harness and you are all set.

i dont know how this is so much cheaper than any other airflo sensor i can find, but theres a reason, my truck actually ended up running worse, some times it would run fine, but most of the time not. Just spend the money and get good parts, i would not recommend this to anyone. I did and havent had a problem since.
Amazing

Reviewing existing part with new unit,I did not like seeing a bent piece of fine tubing. Also the rubber/ plastic fastener on inside of unit didnt look right.
I thought this would interrupt airflow so I did not want to change it.
Awsome

Bought this to clear up a code problem. It did the job and was easy to replace. I suspect there were other problems because aside from clearing the code, it didn't help the mpg on the truck
