Okay, so we're going to replace the whole wiper arm assembly. To do that, we'll lift up this cover. We have to loosen this 13-millimeter nut. This one's pretty rusty. See if we can get it to go. A little force, but it came loose. Okay, so these can get stuck on here with age, so we're going to remove this little cover so I have better access to it. I'm going to put the nut back on it because I'm going to use a puller, and I don't want to mushroom the end of that stud. I want to push against the nut.
I'm going to spray a little bit of penetrating oil in there, sort of help with it. We'll use this little puller setup. Center it over the nut there. I'm just going to tighten this down and gently pop that off. There it goes. That's what it took. Loosen up this puller. Take it off. Loosen up the nut, and then we just kind of work it back and forth. Sometimes you got to wiggle it and it will come off, but there's also the windshield washer for the year runs through the inside of this, so you have to unplug it from here. And there you go.
Okay, so here's the old wiper arm that we took off the vehicle and this is the new wiper arm from 1AAuto.com. As you can see, from the top they're identical and on the inside, they both have the washer fluid sprayer nozzle on the inside. They come together with the spring. It comes with a new cap. They are basically the same, and they should put on your vehicle just fine. Alright, I'm just going to clean up the stud here and make sure there's nothing on there, because as you can see, there's some little splines here and the inside of the new part is nice and smooth. So when you tighten the nut down, it's going to press into those splines so it doesn't slip off while it's operating.
We're going to plug this part in. It actually goes around that like that. It's just a barb fitting. We're going to plug it right in. We're going to place this over it. We're going to reuse the old nut. You can see this was the side that was close to it. Get it threaded on there. Take that 13 millimeter wrench, and you'll just tighten it down. You'll try to watch and see. This will seat over those splines. It won't take too much. Just kind of feel it until it stops, because you don't want to break it. Just about there is good. It doesn't take a lot of torque, just a little bit. That should be all set. So now you can close that.
Now you can install your wiper blade. We're going to pick it up out of the little seat, plug it in. It will make a nice snap when it's engaged. Place it back in the seat, and this wiper blade's been changed, this whole arm has been changed.

Don't purchase the cross drilled rotors from here. They are thinner than stock and warp to easily.

This replacement arm worked perfectly for my 2012 Tahoe. Installation was easy. Removal of the old arm was a little more difficult as it had pretty much denigrated and needed to be cut off.
