Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace a power window switch on this 2004 Ford Crown Victoria. We show you on the passenger side, but both rear doors are a similar procedure. The only items you'll need include a new power window switch from 1AAuto.com and a flat blade screwdriver.
Using a flat blade screwdriver, just pry up this switch panel and pull straight up to release that last clip. Then push the tab on both of these harnesses and pull them free.
Now pry up the tabs on the back of the switch. There's two on one side and one on the other. Once you've pried them each out the switch will pull right out.
On the left is the old switch; on the right is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical, and they're going to mount exactly the same. Take your new one and push it into place. Reconnect your harnesses and then push the back end of the panel in first, and then push the front then and you're all set.

Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace a single button power window switch. This is a 2005 Ford F150. This is pretty much the same for this new style, 2004 to 2008. It's also the same for the passenger side rear door as well as the passenger front door. The items you'll need are a new power window switch from 1AAuo.com and a flat blade screwdriver.
Using a flat blade screwdriver, pry up this panel, then pull it forward and push the tab on the harness and disconnect it. Now using a flat blade screwdriver, pry out on the tab on either side of the switch while applying pressure in the opposite direction, and then pull it up and out.
Take your new power window switch and push it into place. Then reconnect the harness, slide the tabs back, and then push the clips down in the front and you're all set.
