In this video, we show you how to replace a front bumper mounted turn signal on this 1996 Camry, same as any '95 or '96 Camry. Pretty easy operation. You just need a Phillips screwdriver. We do run into a little bit of a snag on this car as the wiring harness is not as long as it should be.
Okay, this bumper mounted light is pretty easy. Get the screwdriver to remove this phillips screw here. Once you remove a certain amount you pull out on the screw and the light comes out. Then pull out the rest of the way.
Okay, so you saw how my light, the socket basically pulled out. On most cars there should be enough wire harness that this comes out far enough for you to unhook it correctly. For some reason on this car, it doesn't come up that far, so what I'm going to do is stick my hand in this way and get hold of the harness just like that.
Okay, your new light from 1A Auto. Just watch it right in there. Then the light from 1A Auto plugs in just like the original light, push it back on there, hand out of there. There's a tab on the side here, make sure that goes back and in, and push the light in, take our screw from our original one. Once you put that screw in just tighten it up firm. You don't want to over tighten it and possibly break the light. Once that's done, your new light's all set.
