Some radiators are designed to be used on both automatic and manual transmission applications. These radiator may have fittings for an automatic transmission fluid cooler. However these radiators can be used on manual transmission models without issue and require no additional parts or modifications.

This product fit and works perfect without issue in a 2001 honda crv. The oem radiator cap also fits perfect. The radiator arrived promptly, well packaged, and looked just like the site images. I recommend this radiator for a 2001 crv.

I didn't plan on changing my radiator until I found the leak at the top. Coolant level was below this and never showed until I filled it after my timing belt job. Even though I hose and blow air yearly through the front, I never knew how clogged the original radiator was. I have the manual transmission which doesn't need the AT cooling lines. This is a universal fit for AT and MT. For the price, you can't find a better radiator and it was in stock. The electric fans don't sound like they are straining either. Obviously air flow was restricted. I would like them to ship these with the AT fittings in a bag attached to an inside flap vs having them already threaded on. One of mine was poking through the box, but didn't damage the radiator during shipping. Well worth spending the money to get better cooling.
