In this video, we show you how to service the front side marker or parking lights on this 1998 Toyota Avalon. It's pretty easy. The only tool you'll need is a Phillips screwdriver.
Okay, with your hood open, you'll see a Phillips screw right on top next to the fender. Remove that, and this light comes out.
To change these bulbs it's pretty easy. This one spins, comes out. Okay, that pulls out and pushes back in. This one, disconnect it. Okay, this one here is a special LED bulb. You just remove these two screws and it comes right out. You can get a replacement and put it in. Here's a light from 1AAuto that can help fix your problem.
Reconnect it. There is a pin here that goes into the headlight, and force the wiring back in there. You have to peek down under here to make sure that that pin pretty much goes into the right place while you're going in there. All right. I'm lining up right there. Let's see.
