Our 2018 Tahoe rode like an old log wagon on a horse trail. After some research the issue was the MagnaRide from GM - @ 80K miles they are shot. This set solved the problem with NO Check Engine light. Perfect fit. The cost on this set is unmatched - at the local parts stores the cost is double what 1A Auto charges. Shipped in 5 days. Changed ride. So much better.

Rears were factory and hit 117 before they started leaking. Ride was also getting rough. Figured it was time to replace them all. Also rears were not stock alone. Received in just 5 days. They were missing 2 strut tower bolts and clip bolt on the other yet the packages were sealed. Must have forgotten at TRQ factory. However, 1aauto corrected the situation for us.

So far ride is smooth. Definitely tel the difference. I also replaced front sway bar links while I was at it. Great ride. Cross fingers they last! Thanks 1aauto. Videos are very helpful.

The dealership quoted 4k to have all 4 shocks/struts replaced. 4k for shock absorbers?!!!!!!! "Not happening!"
IA provided the correct shocks and the instruction video which made the replacement easy to do. And, trust me, I'm no mechanic. Can't thank you guys enough, and yes, I'll use 1A for future repairs.
Shipping took just under a week and the correct parts were delivered.

I went to the dealer and they wanted $5k to install a set of Original Equipment. These are much more affordable. I took them top my local Napa Auto Center and they installed them for $600. My only complaint is that they are on the stiff side. I may need to take them to the dealer to have the computer recalibrated. I pull a 260 Sundancer with my Yukon Denali and the shocks did well. I have about 500lbs togue weight. I would recommend.

I installed this on my 2017 Suburban Premier and the ride really didn't improve all that much. Not as stiff as before, but definitely not what a proper Magneride system should. I think I'm going to take these off and install ACDelco ones.

Terrible terrible terrible. I have never purchased an item that worth the price or time. I still end up spending 4000 dollars on AC Delco shocks. The rise felt as though we were riding in a boat. Every acceleration and bump , the Suburban Premier would just bounce.

Product looks the part. Easy installation etc. "Fixed" the awful worn-out struts/air shocks. Meaning the ride is not obnoxious but definitely not OEM ride quality. Every bump in the road is felt. Decent budget part but if you have the $$$ go with OEM.

Replaced my 2016 gmc Yukon xl with the magnaride shocks and thought by driving it for a while it would level out but still feel every bump in the road but it's the complete opposite of the oem shock very disappointed it's like driving a low rider very stiff and bouncy.

Purchase and installed the struts and shocks for my 2016 Chevy Tahoe LTZ with Magnaride. The car is very bouncy and rides rough. Can feel every bump. Contacted 1A Auto and they said to drive for 4 weeks and see if they settled. Have been driving for about 2 weeks and still rough and bouncy ride.

So here's the skinny. They fit very well. Installation was straight forward and easy with pretty much basic tools and minor to moderate mechanical skills. But I'm rating 4 stars because the ride is just acceptable. I guess for a 3rd of the price of OEM equipment I shouldn't be complaining, and I'm not per se. But I'd be lying if I said they were great. Yes, they solved the problem of the bouncy non compliant ride of the worn out equipment they replaced. But, don't expect a plush, perfectly controlled OEM magnetic controlled ride. Expect just good to adequate ride for the money spent and money saved and you will be pleased. Overall, I'd recommend. Especially if your like me and have a higher mileage vehicle that it's just probably not worth putting $3k into the suspension.
