Had these installed and they are just now seating to the door. Have not hit the interstate yet to see if they stop the wind noise. They seem to be a good fit.
These seals were amazing fitting perfectly in my 1979 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. Give yourself plenty of time and be patient to install them right. The hardest part was actually removing the old seals and cleaning off the oily solvent. The new seals are incredibly malleable and fit better over time. When first installed, the doors are hard to close, but after a couple of weeks the mold themselves and now they are perfect. It is amazing how much quieter the car is now.
I used some silicone caulking for stick-ability because the doors were so worn. I painted and scraped off any rust or metal flaking. Use very little of the silicone - very little. The products were exactly cut for the shape of my 86 chev doors. The pins fit exactly - but the doors had plenty of wear, so the first step is to carefully examine your door metal. On older cars, the drain hole aty the bottom may have been plugged by dust or other debris. make sure the drains are cleared. I dropped off the interior panels to hand-clear the bottom of the door - found small leaves, dirt, etc. I replaced the interior panels after replacing the window scrapers and door lock switches which were also worn. The scrapers were a tough job. So, the last, and easiest part was attaching the new rubber weatherstripping with just a touch of silicone caulking. after some preparation. I was very pleased at the reduction in sound - and the exact fit. There may be other products other than silicon
