Fit in my 2000 Impala and solved the intermittent signal flashing problem. New problem emerged where the signals flash fast. I don't think its related to the part.

This part fixes the turn signals when they no longer flash properly. I tried the lever / switch first but that wasn't it. The repair was easy, don't be afraid of taking apart the dash, it's not bad at all. My impala had an additional 3 bolts than the video showed. Don't forget to buy the inverted torx sockets beforehand. Be very careful with the plastic wiring harness clips, some of them are very fragile.
Unfortunately, it does. I have replaced this switch twice with the same results. Its main benefit is that it also controls two of the brake lights which now work. I'm thinking about going to a junk yard and picking one up, an original OEM version. p.s. you get used to the fast blinking
