Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to service the bulbs as well as replace the entire taillight assembly on this 2004 Jeep Liberty. We show you on the driver side, but the passenger side is the similar procedure. It's the same part and similar process on these Liberties from 2002 to 2004. The only items you'll need include new taillights from 1AAuto.com and a T20 Torx driver.
For your passenger side taillight, the two T20 Torx bolts holding it in are right here, but for the driver side, you're going to have to go through right here, here, and one right here. We're just going to fast-forward as Don removes both of those. Once those removed, the taillight will pull right out.
Pull the harness clip from the bottom of the taillight. Push the tab and disconnect the harness. To service the bulbs, you just twist these sockets counterclockwise and pull them out. You can pull the bulb out. Push your new bulb in and twist the socket clockwise back into place. The other two are the same procedure.
On the left is the old taillight; on the right is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical, and they're going to fit exactly the same. Line up this pin with this hole and just push the taillight back into place. Then replace those two T20 bolts, and it helps to put them onto the driver. Feed it back into place and just twist it in. We'll just fast-forward as Don replaces both of those bolts. Once you're done with that, you're all set.
We hope this video helps you out. Brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the Internet. Please feel free to call us toll-free, 888-844-3393. We're the company that's here for you on the Internet and in person.

Bad lamps

Fit perfect
Turn signal lamp keeps failing ? Works for one blink then acts as if bulb burned out. Check bulb and fine but will not work again. 6 bulbs later I've decided to purchase the manufactures replacement. Great price at half the cost of manufacturers price if it worked! ??

This was probably the smoothest purchase I ever made. Customer service was excellent, the light arrived on time, well packaged and I installed it within a half hour of receiving it.
Great experience, thank you A1 Auto.
