In this video, we're going to show you how to service the bulbs for the fog light and the daytime running as well as signal lights, on this 2006 Cadillac CTS, same as any '03 to '07. The CTS -V is the same process, although there is a little different duct work for that vehicle. The only tool you'll need is a flat blade screwdriver, and a flashlight will help you out as well.
To change the bulb in your fog light or your signal and daytime running light, you'll have to come up underneath here, and there's a couple of pins. One here, one here and then one right over here. Use a screwdriver. Pull the middle of the pin out and then it comes down and out. Then on the same thing, screwdriver, start to clip, and sometimes they take a little bit of finagling, because they've got sand and whatnot trapped in them. You can also take a couple of these out, the same thing. To speed up here a little bit, I just pull a couple more of those wheel well clips out. Now come under here. We'll pull this back.
Just pull back out the way, you can see up in there. Right here is your fog light, twist it counter clockwise and pull it down. Then, it's a little hard to film here, but couple of teeth just hold it into a socket. Pull back with your thumb, disconnect the fog light. Wipe mine off. You want to avoid getting any fingerprints on the fog light, because oil from your hands could melt the glass and burn it out. Reconnect your fog light. Put it up in, require place to lock it. Up higher is your signal light. Turn it counter clockwise, bring it down. The bulb just pulls straight out. Then put back in. Put it up in the place and then rotate it, and then turn it clockwise, then lock it. Then you want this all back up into place. Back up above. This tab goes up above like that. Put those two back in. This one back in, and put those two back in.
