In this video we'll be replacing the inside door handle on this '07 Corolla. Same procedure as any '03 to '08 Corolla. The tools you'll need for this project are flat blade screwdrivers, both medium and small, Phillips screwdriver, a 10-mm socket with ratchet and extension or just a wrench, putty knife or door panel clip tool. Start with a medium screwdriver and a rag. You pull on this little trim panel here. Get your screwdriver down and behind and it comes out. Then you want to switch over to the smaller screwdriver. There's a little door here in your door handle that exposes a little Phillips head screwdriver. Then you're going to pull up your, again use your rag to protect the plastic and what-not. Put the screwdriver under there and pull up this arm rest base or pad. Then your switch panel comes up the same way. Now these buttons. Unplug your switches and now your switch panels off. Now you want to use the Phillips screwdriver. Once those screws are removed, take your rag again and the putty knife and go down around the bottom.
To remove the interior door handle, just need a screwdriver, kind of pull on this tab here and pry at the same time. The door handle comes back. You can flip it over, this one pulls out and then like that. This one pulls out and comes out like that. Here's our new door handle from 1A Auto. I did actually grab the wrong one for this car. We do sell the handle with the chrome. I accidentally grabbed a black one. You can see the door handle is exactly the same. It's going to mount the same and everything. I'll even mount it on here for you. You would hook up this one first. Sorry, it goes... that's okay. You hook that one in and then hook that one in like that. Put it in, slide it forward and it's in. Then you put your door panel back on. Just for the interest of time, we're going to speed through installing the door panel.
