The cat fit, but we had to use the old upstream gasket because the new gasket was too thick which prevented us from getting the bolts to screw in. The gasket needs to be trimmed down by 1/3 of its thickness.

I installed this on our 2004 Honda Element EX. The first one I received, the box was torn open and retapped. The two gaskets and spring bolts were missing, and the catalytic converter was damaged at both ends. Now I'm sure I could have worked over the interior matting surfaces of both ends. I contacted 1aauto, and they sent a replacement. It was wrapped in plastic wrap, this one included the gaskets, spring bolts, and instructions. One of the flanges interiors was slightly marred, I was able to peen and file the matting surface to work. I then installed it, and it fit well. I then cleared the "check engine" light. And so far so good, I have only put approximately 40 miles on it so far.

Ah, yes the converter was easy to install no problem, I replaced the whole exhaust front to back, first time doing that it's easy and cleared the codes. Go for it !
