Fit the car just fine.
Seems to be as weak original equipment. I repaired old one 3 times before I gave up. I used bondo to strenghten the weak web parts.
Great OEM replacement and the chrome looks very nice with my metallic silver hatch. Fit is fantastic and installation took about an hour. Note: this does not come with emblem adhesive/tape, so you will have to glue on the emblem from the broken piece (I used JB Weld Kwik set). Very happy with this purchase! Thank you!
Im a female backyard mechanic and order a lot of parts for my car, my sons car and my daughters car. The lift gate garnish is attractive and was easy to install. Thanks for selling quality car parts at reasonable prices.
This part fit perfectly, and only took about 30 minutes to install. That was mainly due to trouble getting one of the old corroded screws out. The only real trick was getting the Toyota badge off the old part, but an exacto knife worked well.

The part was exactly what was advertised, expected, and needed. However, one mounting screw was out of position.
His YT videos always help me out, this product works just fine compared to the price of a matching color handle with the Yota logo.
The liftgate garnish is a good replacement for OEM but I had two issues. I had to file down the lock button base to get the lock button to seat properly. The other issue was removing the plug for the backup camera. I had to use a hacksaw to gently cut through the tabs holding the plug. Plastic is extremely brittle so use caution. Other than that the liftgate garnish fits well. What makes this a no-brainer is the 1A Auto price was 1/3 the price of the OEM replacement.
No, it's just the garnish. I did have to replace the latch previously; it was one of the ones in which the rubber on the latch became a sticky, gummy mess. Since I had already replaced the latch, the replacement of the garnish was easier as I had previously done similar work. I did salvage the Toyota symbol from the old, broken garnish and used it with the new one. The finished product looks good.
