After calling customer service, I ordered the set of four strut / spring assemblies. Raised my SUV about an inch, and provides a great, smooth ride. Best price, and quality product. I will shop here again.

Good Price. Delivered on time. The video was very helpful. The shipping boxes were damaged, but the contents where OK. Recommend adding an overpack.

I ordered parts from a1auto parts. Wow parts came the next day. I'm DIY mechanic. I replaced my parts in a few hours. I will be ordering more parts from a1 Auto parts. I would recommend everyone buy your parts here. Thanks a1auto.

Only been a few weeks but so far so good. Online video was very helpful also. Would have been nice to have a rear video as well. Overall though Im satisfied.

The ride changed dramatically. I went from driving in a bouncy house to driving a vehicle that can withstand the bumps and frost heaves that New England has to offer.

The parts arrived promptly and in good shape. The packaging was a bit torn and mangled but no damage detected with the struts. Together with your excellent online installation tutorials I was able to install the new struts, tie-rod ends, and Sway bar linkages front and back with no hitches. My local Midas repair shop quoted me $4,000 to replace the same parts. I did it for $600 in parts from 1A Auto. Next I will do the brakes :-)
Customer Q&A
Who is the manufacturer of these?

We have a few different aftermarket companies build these parts specifically for us, as our 1A Auto house brand. They are manufactured to the same OEM specifications as the original part that came with your vehicle. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Is there an alignment required at installation?

I did and would suggest you do the same.

As long as you dont need an alignment to begin with. Replacing the struts doesnt affect tow, camber or caster adjustments. Be sure not to remove upper control arms or tie rod jam nuts. Removing those may cause the alignment to be out when youre back together.

I would get a alignment done after you change the strut assembly. On my explorer after the shocks were replaced it rode alot better but it also can offset the toe and camber from changing ride stiffness which will cause tire wear on the outside of the tires

Your websites NOT clear if this is a 4" lift kit for a 06 explorer. If not do you build one?
