Wow, when I first saw the price I couldnt believe it, I havent seen any new replacement cameras for a 2013 Explorer for less than $170. So, I ordered one and it works just like the original camera. What a great deal, thanks 1A Auto.

I ordered this camera and was so surprised that the price was so much cheaper than what the dealership wanted to charge me. As many other reviews stated, the dealer quoted me at $600 to replace a intermittently malfunctioning backup camera in my 2013 explorer. Bought this item and it was money well spent. It's super easy to replace yourself in less than 30 minutes. Even the free shipping was super fast.

Replaced original equipment camera (made in China) with this camera which was made in Korea. Exact fit and works as good as original. Saved at least $450 by doing this myself. Did her assistance from you tube for how to install. Very easy! Took about 20 minutes.

Had concerns at first I purchased one off EBay that didnt work and had to send back. Did a search on line and found A1 auto had them for a good price. I chatted with a online rep and he assured me that this product would work and if it didnt a new one would be sent out. Glad to say it worked great. Super fast shipping and excellent product.

Appears to be a nice little camera for my 2013 Ford Explorer. I did put some new weather stripping on chrome emblem to help keep water out due to mine cracked all up

The rearview camera died on my 2012 Ford Explorer. I searched online and chose 1AAuto to make the purchase. Ordering processing and shipping was fantastic. The product works as designed - no issues. However, I experienced shipping delays that went on far too long in order for it to be resolved. They finally resent the product after 3 messages to them about the delay. Additionally, once they resent the product, they did not expedite the shipping. So, overall I had to wait 2.5 weeks to get the item.

I purchased this backup Camera to replace my original 2014 backup Camera which was intermittent and getting worse. I was skeptical that this would resolve my issue as this was significantly less expensive than the.OEM camera. The replacement was very simple and it did not take long to change. After the installation I put the transmission in reverse and to my pleasant surprise it worked perfectly and the quality of the picture and accuracy and all functionality is the same as the OEM camera including lines and zoom feature. Im. Very pleased with the product and would highly recommend this replacement backup camera.

I have a 2013 Explorer and the camera was not working. It was cutting in and out and giving a message to contact the dealer to fix it. I ordered one off of EBay and it didnt work. I swapped it out for this camera and it has worked great so far. Its worth the money to pay a little extra instead of having to do the install twice like I did!

Like some other customers, my 2013 Explorer stock backup camera started to flicker or wouldnt even come on. Decided to try this part as a fix, and within 15 minutes had it installed and the problem was gone! Very pleased with the product, how quickly it arrived, and guarantee. 1aAuto for the win!

Easy replacement. Only took 20 minutes. It fixed the reverse image I was having with the old one and it's intermittent working, but the lines don't move while backing up. If everything would have worked I'd gave it 5 stars.

Camera fits great. Unfortunately the quality is not very good compared to the OEM camera. Everything in the camera view is blurry until you get very close. Like a fisheye lens.

Perfect fit. Like some of the other reviews it does seem a little blurry compared to the original. But I would buy it again since the price is so much cheaper. I can still clearly see anything that is in my way and it does exactly what it is made to do.

2015 explorer. I like others ordered a replacement camera from Amazon. I installed it and the picture was fine but the lines were stuck in a curved position. I tried to reprogram it and that didn't work. I sent it back and ordered this one from 1A Auto. It worked and looked like the original camera. The lines were straight and the red/yellow/green distance blocks operated as well. Save your time and effort and just get this one. Some other reviews said the picture quality is less with this one but I can't tell a difference. I want to see people cars and other objects in my way not see gnats flying around.

It took 7 days to receive. Install went well but camera was glitching, showing double images and showing images upside down. Waiting on replacement, for the price I thought it would be better than the fifty dollar ones on eBay but it's not looking like that.
A good enough replacement when you don't want to spend dealer money on a fix

The camera is a direct swap and installation was a breeze. Worked as soon as I was done and didn't require any setting up or anything. I'll be honest the picture quality is not anywhere near the factory camera, but for simply getting the camera working again to get rid of the error message it was well worth the price. I guess time will tell if it lasts.

Installed this on a 2015 Explorer Sport Turbo and it took 10 minutes and works fine. Not as crisp picture as others have pointed out but 100 times better than no picture at all! Not to mention we saved hundreds of $$ by doing it ourselves! Glad I found this website as I'm sure I will be back when something else needs fixed or replaced.

The video is much better than the original camera, and works great. The video quality is so much better it took a little while to get used to it. I replaced the OEM camera on a 2013 Ford Explorer with this one and I am extremely satisfied.

I've tried other cameras and they are able to show an image, along with the straight (green, yellow, and red lines), but the curved dynamic lines (the ones that help you keep straight as you are turning while backing up) stay fixed. They don't move.

I have the same issue, the white lines stay fixed. I've been trying to research if they can be made to function, or even if I can get rid of them on my installation. It would be great to get some input if anyone knows how to fix.

Pretty much any camera you purchase is going to do just as you are saying. The OE from Ford has to be set up with the IDS to move the lines when turning. These aftermarket cameras will work as you like, but needs programming to make that function work. I explained this to my customer and they were good with the camera working and lines staying straight, I saved them well over $700.00, Hope this helps and have a blessed day!

I did not need to do a recalibration, but I believe there is an option for the system to steer right and left when backing up. I think that needs to be programmed in the computer. Check your owners manual. I have a 2013 Explorer.
