TRQ oxygen sensors are manufactured to precise specifications using premium raw materials to optimize your vehicle’s emission system. Each sensor is isostatically-pressed for improved strength and durability, and plasma-sprayed to improve sensitivity and prolong the service life of the sensors. Oxygen sensors wear out over time and should be replaced every 60,000 miles to prevent poor engine performance. TRQ recommends replacing the oxygen sensors in sets to optimize fuel economy and reduce overall emissions. All products are fit and road-tested in our Massachusetts R&D facility to ensure we deliver on our promise of Trusted Reliable Quality.

Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to replace the upstream oxygen sensor. Now that's the one that's before the catalytic converter. It's between the motor and the catalytic converter. This is a 2007 G6 with the 4 cylinder motor, same as any G6 or Saturn Aura. The only tool you'll need is a 7/8 inch, oxygen sensor socket and a flexible headed ratchet will make the job easier.
Access your upstream oxygen sensor. It's right in behind the engine. This is a 2.4 liter, 4 cylinder. There's the oxygen sensor. There's the electrical connector. Now back in, there's a blue, little safety lanyard that you need to pull out. Then, there's just a tab on top of the connector, pull it up with your thumb and then you should be able to pull the connector right off. Now grab the other end, the end that's connected to the O2 sensor and pull it out of the clip. This is the tool that makes all the difference. It's an O2 socket. See it has a big slot in it that allows the electrical connector to go out to the side and then you put the socket around the oxygen sensor. A flexible headed ratchet like this is going to be your best bet, allows you to get the most leverage. Once you get the ratchet on there, turn the O2 sensor out and actually, this one comes out fairly easily once we get it started.
The new sensor goes in, just opposite of how the old one came out. Put it in place, get it in the hole and you can usually start it in by hand. Then, once you get it fairly tightened up, then make it nice and tight with the socket. Now, obviously, we need to reconnect the oxygen sensor. I'm just going a little fast, here, because doing it with one hand, makes it a little more difficult, but reconnect the connector. Make sure you put that locking clip back into place. Then clip the connector back into the bracket.
We hope this video helps you out. Brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the Internet. Please feel free to call us toll-free, 888-844-3393. We're the company that's here for you on the Internet and in person.

Bad Oxygen Sensors

October 3, 2022
Had the lower two of these installed on my pickup as preventive maintenance, big mistake.
The bungs stripped out, had to take it to the muffler shop and have the two bungs cut off and rewelded.
Now the service engine light came on within 50 miles. Back to the shop to check the codes, it showed the two lower oxygen sensors, reset the service light.
The service engine light came back on within 50 miles again. Back to the shop to check codes and reset lights.
50 miles later back to the shop again with service light on, same codes again.
I have an appointment to have the lower oxygen sensors replace.
Glad I didnt get around to replacing the upper units.

TRQ's sensors have exceeded my expectations in every aspect. First and foremost, the build quality of these sensors is exceptional. They feel sturdy and well-constructed, indicating a high level of attention to detail during manufacturing. Installing them was a breeze, thanks to their precise fit and compatibility with my vehicle. In addition to their performance, TRQ's customer service deserves recognition. Any questions I had were promptly addressed, and their team displayed a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.

Cheaply made Chinese product. Buy OEM if possible or use a Bosch or reputable manufacturer.

I ordered 2 of these kits as I have 2 of the same vehicle. Heating element is really cheap and immediately threw a code for both downstream sensors. I put the 17 year old original ones back in and the heater circuit code went away. The resistance on these is much lower than OEM and don't get hot enough to do their job.
Get what you pay for.

Bank 2 sensor 1 went bad not long after installing. It was causing bank 2 to run lean and caused my Tahoe to run sluggish. It actually caused more issues than the original sensors that was on it. I would recommend paying extra to get the better sensors.

I purchased these about a year ago. I had them installed by my trusted (certified)mechanic. My vehicle has failed emissions three times now (including recently). There are other issues that have caused the vehicle to fail. Everything has been repaired accordingly by my mechanic (via visual inspection and electronic diagnostics). Right now the fail shows that the O2 sensors are not reading. I'm only giving the rating that I have because I have purchased from you guys many times before and everything has always worked fine. The purchasing efficiency and prices are always more than satisfying. I just don't know what happened.
Awesome product

Apparently they are enough to allow my engine to run but not good enough to remove the codes. Of course, my old ones did that too. Probably better to go with OEM parts. Service was lack luster as well. Person I talked to couldn't give me a definite answer as to which sensor were the upstream versus which were downstream.
O2 sensors faulty but good customer support

I ordered O2 sensors. I received O2 sensors. They were a pain in the ass to install on the upstream side, but that's on GM's engineers.

After getting various check engine lights. I decided it was time to replace the O2 sensors myself to save some money. The Sensor kit on 1A auto was $112.95 for all 4. At the local AutoZone and Napa the sensors were going for 240$
After watching the included video I was able to do the repair with minimal tools and under 1 hour. Saving hundreds of dollars.
