What's up, guys? I'm Andy from 1A Auto. In this video I'm going to show you how to replace this jack pad on this 2001 BMW 325Xi. If you need this part or other parts for your vehicle, click the link in the description and head over to 1AAuto.com.
All right, we're going to remove the mount that's located right here. We're raising the vehicle from this position right here, that's where you would lift it. You can do this on the ground though. So there's that one there, there's another one right here, and then two on this side, all four corners. I'm going to use this trim tool, we actually sell this trim tool at 1AAuto.com. There's a little pin right there. I'm going to slide that pin out, and just slide that pin out. Should be able to get it underneath the mount, and slide it out.
Here's the old jack pad, here's the new jack pad from 1AAuto.com, it's got the same shape, comes with a pin. Flip it over, it's got the same backing, a little rubber seal right there, same locking mechanism. Get yours at 1AAuto.com, you can do it yourself. Now, I just take the new jack pad, line that up, push it up there, take the pin. The pin's started. Then you take a little hammer, give it a little tap. There you go.
