In this video, we're going to show you tail light replacement on this 2001 Chevy Impala, same as a '97 to '03, and no tools are necessary.
To replace the tail light, pretty easy, you're going to see a loosen type of. Then, you pull this back, and then there's three wing nuts, and you can also use, I believe, a 10-mm wrench. Remove those three.
Tail light pulls back. If you're looking to replace a bulb, you want to disconnect your connection here, which basically from the bottom, there's a little tab and pull. Here's a little tab, and you pull that connector. There's your tail light off. Your bulbs are back in here. Pull up on these little tabs. You can see there's water in this one. Pull that plate off. Then, the bulbs just pull right out. Then once you have this plate off, the bulbs pull out and push back in. The plate just pops right back on like that.
New tail light from 1A Auto. Everything is going to go in just the same. Pops right in. Just kind of make sure you use the plug in the right spot. Pop that on. Then, make sure all your studs go in and then use your nuts on the back side. Then, you just put this back in place and you're all set.
