My truck feels and rides much better no suspension lights with the conversion kit Good 50. Although the ride is good the truck squeaks when I hit bumps occasionally I didnt see any markings on the shocks indicating driver or passenger shock could I have put the on the opposite sides ???

I just installed the front struts and rear shocks this morning. I was a little worried if the resistors would work. After finishing the job I took my Suburban for a test drive. Rides wonderful. Then I put it to the real test and had my wife drive it. She said it rides and handles like it was new! A the resistors are working. No warning lights. If anything thing changes Ill post it. Very happy so far!

I bought the aftermarket conversion kit because I had the electronic struts up front which cost nearly $1,500 to replace so for the most part I saved a lot of money basically for the same great ride an they came with the resister plug that keeps the code from coming on. Install is simple enough, however the ride is far from factory electronic shocks. Very stiff ride hopefully they will smooth out over time. So far the electronic bypass appears to be working as described in product summary.

This setup worked perfectly! Yes, the OEM electronics might be slightly softer ride, but definitely not worth the cost. I will happily recommend this option if you are looking for a more reasonable cost and 95% of factory ride. Our old factory shocks were completely shot, with boating and poor tracking. My wife (primary driver) had grown to dislike driving it. These have her back on the road and happy with it again. The kit was more than complete. Everything fit perfectly. The packaging boxes held up to shipping, but one had evidence of being re-taped, and the heavy struts had beaten on the cardboard a bit. (Some pre-cut foam cradling would solve that.) If I had no budget and a magic wand, I might prefer the factory-style clip nuts on the lower mounts. This isn't even an inconvenience though, and the mount would require reletively expensive design changes. The hardware provided fits perfectly well. I am 100% satisfied with this product, and the support offered from

Not one to normally complain but these are the worst shocks/struts I have ever used before. Put these on my 2013 Suburban to replace the auto ride shocks. Obviously I knew they were not going to be as nice and smooth as the auto ride was, but these are HORRIBLE!!!. The shocks have only been on the vehicle for less than 6 months and they are already squeaking a bottoming out under normal driving conditions. Hands down the worst on the market. Very disappointed in 1A auto for even selling these terrible products. Spend the extra money and get the name brand. Wish I could do negative 5 stars. Already looking into replacements.

Converted from Magneride on my 2013 Escalade and the ride seems looser than I'm used to. With magnaride, The ride used to feel a bit firmer and almost like a sports car with great handle on sharp turns. Now it feels more like a 70's El Dorado. Will be converting back in the near future.

It will fit like the original, bypass the factory sensors, and create a more consistent ride, thanks to a revised gas shock design. The guarantee on these parts is a lifetime warranty. In the event this item should fail due to manufacturing defects during intended use, we will replace the part free of charge. This warranty covers the cost of the part only. If the parts are installed and you decide you just do not like the feel of the ride in comparison to the OEM electronic shocks, they would not be refundable. Only parts that have not been installed are eligible to be returned for a refund.

I Purchased these and placed them on a 2007 Chevy Tahoe LTZ, they were the correct ones for me, Theres a lot of variations to the front shocks throughout the earlier 2000 years, Its a task to make sure youre getting the right ones, 1a auto has them! Im sure of it! I think I called customer service and the gentleman was extremely helpful and I got the correct part number within a couple minutes after trying to figure it out myself on the Internet the night before, just call and ask them, I didnt feel obligated to buy but, I searched around for shocks all over the Internet and now I use one a auto for just about all these types of needs, shocks are still performing good to this day, wait till you see how much taller the truck looks after install!
