Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to service as well as change the entire parking light assembly on this 1996 Chevy Tahoe. We show you on the passenger side, but the driver side is the same procedure. The items that you'll need for this include a new parking light from 1AAuto.com, and a Phillips screwdriver.
Start off by removing these four Phillips screws, and we'll fast-forward as Don does this. Once those are removed, pull the light out, and then you twist the sockets counterclockwise to remove them. To remove a bulb you push it in and twist it, and it pulls up, and you push it back in and twist it to lock it.
On the right is the old parking light assembly; on the left is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical, and they'll mount exactly the same. Twist the sockets clockwise into your new parking light assembly to lock them.
Then push your parking light assembly into place, making sure all four of those holes line up. Then replace those four Phillips screws. And you're all set.

In this video, we're going to be working with our 1996 GMC Sierra. We're going to show you how to remove and replace your vehicle's turn signals. If you like this video, please click subscribe. We have a ton more information on this and many other vehicles. And if you need these parts for your truck, you can follow the link down in the description over to 1AAuto.com.
Here are the items you'll need for this repair.
Remove the four Phillips head screws on the outside edges of your turn signal. We'll do this using a Phillips screwdriver. Once the screws are out, you can pull the housing forward. Remove the electrical connectors. Repeat these steps on the opposite side.
Here we have our turn signals that were removed from our vehicle, and our parts from 1AAuto.com. As you can see, these parts are exactly the same, with the same housings and lenses. Back side has the same openings at the bulb sockets. And we have the same four bulb mounting location. You could see the old ones really fogged up. They're not going to let a lot of light through. They don't look good. These new parts are nice and clear, nice and bright. They're going to get that light through so other people can see what you're doing and update the front of your truck. They'll go in direct fit, just like your original equipment and fix you up right.
Reinstall the lights into the turn signals. Install them into the grill, along with the four Phillips head screws. Repeat these steps on the opposite side.
Thanks for watching. Visit us at 1AAuto.com for quality auto parts, fast and free shipping, and the best customer service in the industry.

Today we're going to replace a parking light for a GM truck and SUV. All that you need is a Phillips screwdriver. It's a pretty easy process.
There are four Phillips screws that hold the parking light on here. Use a Phillips screwdriver. In this case, we have a screw gun and we'll speed the video up a little bit for you. Once those screws are out, the parking light comes right out. There's little thumb locks and you just twist the bulbs and pull them out. Your parking light is out.
Replacement is just a reversal of the procedure. You take your light, put the bulbs in, twist and lock them into place. Put the light in its place. You have your four screws. In a minute we'll speed it up again for you. Thread the four screws in first and then use your power tool or just a regular screw driver and tighten the screws. The screws don't have to be over tight. It is a plastic lens so you don't want to tighten it too much and break the screws. That's it.
Remember this video is brought to you by www.1AAuto.com. The parts in this video can be resourced there. We thank you and we hope this helps with your project.
