This item appears to have a two prong connection.
Thank you for the inquiry. The coolant temperature sensor is located on the front of the engine block. This will vary on some cars where the pulleys are located on the side of the vehicle. However, the sensor is still located amongst the pulley system. Hold a drop light over the area and locate the sensor.

Once you locate the part on your engine, you will need to un thread the part and disconnect the electrical harness.
This may depend on which model and engine you are using it in.
