In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the master power window switch on this 2004 Dodge Ram Quad Cab, same as any '02 to '08 1500, in the '09 2500 and 3500. Tools you'll need are Phillip's screwdriver and a regular screwdriver. Replacing your power window switch is pretty easy but a lot of people don't feel comfortable prying stuff up but that's all you do. Pry this up, it comes up and out and then these harness connections, they have little tabs. You press on the tab and then you've got to work the connector free. Same thing here. Then there are three screws that hold the switch to the plate.
We'll fast forward here as we remove those three screws. This switch is working fine so I'll just show you how to reinstall it. It's just a reverse. It's real easy. Just going to fast forward again as I put those screws in. I usually start all three of them first and then tighten them up one by one afterwards. Plug in your harness connections and push it back down in. There you go and that procedure's the same for the passenger's side as well.

Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
Today we're going to be showing you how to replace the master window switch in your 2008 Dodge Ram Quad Cab. This information is the same for the 1500 Quad Cabs from 2002 to 2008, and similar for several other Dodge trucks and SUVs. The tools you're going to need include a flat blade screwdriver flat blade screwdriver or another type of non-marring prying tool, a number two Phillips head screwdriver, and a new master window switch from 1AAuto.com.
Our master window switch is damaged. Somebody's put a screw in the top here to try and hold it all together. Regardless, the process to do this is going to be exactly the same for your vehicle. Pop the switch out of the door panel. Flip it over. Disconnect the harnesses. Using a number two Phillips screwdriver, remove the three screws holding the switch in the bottom of the trim panel. Remove the switch from the trim panel.
As you can see, the old part from our vehicle and our new part from 1A Auto have the exact same designations on them. Still have an automatic setting for your driver's window. Get the same directionals and lettering for the power mirror controls. It’s got the same connections on the back and the same mounting holes on the bottom and the top.
Install your new master window switch into the trim panel. Reinstall the three Phillips head screws. Reconnect the connectors and snap the trim panel back into place.
Thanks for tuning in. We hope this video helped you out. Next time you need parts for your car, please visit 1AAuto.com. Also check out our other helpful how-to and diagnosis videos.
